Job description

The Office of Student Success and Wellbeing (OSSW)  is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lipscomb University student to join our team and serve as an intern for the department. This position is ideal for a student who is passionate about supporting their peers and contributing to a positive campus environment. This position will primarily assist with administrative tasks and support staff members in the OSSW. Must be a current Lipscomb student. May be federal work study eligible.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Greet students as they enter the office, answering any questions and directing them to the appropriate area or resources. 
  • Assist OSSW staff with administrative tasks 
  • Help prepare materials and resources for workshops and events 
  • Assist with OSSW sponsored events 
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials for office events and services 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the office staff to support the mission of OSSW

Requirements 

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at Lipscomb University 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Knowledge of the resources and services available at Lipscomb.
  • Previous experience working on campus or serving in a student leader role is a plus
