Position Overview

Salary range: The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $146,700-$442,800. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position Description

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for full-time faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks. Desired clinical interest should be in Critical Care, Lung Transplantation, Advanced Lung Diseases, COPD, Asthma, Lung Cancer, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, or the management of liver transplant patients. Responsibilities will include supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows in the inpatient and outpatient settings at one or more of the following sites: UCLA Health Sciences campus, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, West LA VA, Torrance/South Bay, Downtown LA, Burbank, or North Valley clinics. The position may also include night shift coverage for the MICU at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center.

An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine.

Basic qualifications: An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required.

Additional qualifications: Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine.
