Posting Open: 07/06/2026 Posting Close: 07/19/2026 11:59 PM EST Salary: Competitive POSITION PURPOSE: Provides direct leadership and oversight in all aspects of highly visible and complex projects analyzing the competitiveness of TVA with relation to financial and operational performance measures, including rates reporting, industry benchmarks and other emergent focus areas. As such, the individual will, independently or through coordinating intra-group staff, drive information gathering efforts from primary and secondary sources, and assess its accuracy, validity, and materiality.

The individual will also generate and disseminate competitive analyses and intelligence to senior leadership and support analyses of a broad range of industry issues and initiatives in multiple geographies and segments to support TVA's strategic direction. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Serves as an expert in macro and holistic comparative analysis of TVA versus competitors in enterprise-level operational and non-operational processes, functions and performance metrics, including rates reporting. Supports senior leadership on significant technical, business, or external issues affecting TVA, including other expert resources as appropriate.

May work independently and/or serve in a lead role of intra-group staff, to coordinate cross-organizational and/or cross-functional teams to evaluate and analyze corporate intelligence, benchmarking results and/or performance analysis. Provides support for the creation and development of internal executive-level presentations and communications. Build strong relationships with key internal teams to ensure up-to-date competitive intelligence and assumptions are shared with all appropriate members.

Liaise with external stakeholders, vendors, analysts and consultants to ensure appropriate and consistent competitive information is communicated Proposes topics for quarterly competitive intelligence forums, coordinates material preparation of those presentations for senior leadership and facilitates forum discussion. Proactively seeks out competitive intelligence data (both internally and externally) that would add value to the business. Actively participates in external organizations to improve competitive analysis processes and procedures.

Provide guidance to intra-group staff to transfer knowledge and develop team capabilities to support competitive analysis programmatic responsibilities. Other special projects as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education - A Bachelor's degree is required.

Field of study in accounting, finance, engineering, or business management is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, with related education, training & experience will be considered. An advanced degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or business administration is desirable.

Experience - Six or more years of experience in financial, operational and competitive analysis, preferably including experience in the utility industry. Consulting experience or direct experience in competitive analysis and benchmarking evaluation. Diverse business experience in multiple business units or external business environments.

Certification/License, etc - None Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - A broad understanding of TVA organizations and their relationships and the complexity of TVA functioning as a utility, government, and regulatory agency. Broad knowledge of financial, environmental, and business functions and requirements related to large electric utility operation. Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and ability to deal with a variety of internal and external contacts.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Experience working with senior-level management. Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, customer focus, relationship building, statistical analysis, accounting, and/or project management.
