Job description

We are seeking a commercial construction superintendent to join a growing team and highly regarded company. For this position you must be able to travel to project sites across the Southeast. The project you will be working on will be primarily large-scale multifamily construction projects.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.
  • Initiate company safety protocols and ensure that all company safety and OSHA standards & guidelines are observed at all times as well as other applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.
  • Gain/maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the project scope and its intent.
  • Provide leadership and on-the-job training opportunities to team members.
  • Ensure building codes and regulations are met.
  • Perform preconstruction job responsibilities.
  • Serve as the point of contact on-site for the owner, consultants, subcontractors, and inspection agencies.
  • Manage all subcontractor work on a project including work put in place, submittals, punchlist items, schedules and safety audits.
  • Work hand in hand with project management on maintaining budget and understanding site impacts that have cost implications to the project.


Qualifications:

● Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience required.

● Must be able to run projects start to finish/ground up.

● Minimum 2 years’ experience in large scale multi-family/hospitality construction required.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

● Experience with scheduling software is preferred.

Proficiency/experience with Procore is preferred.

● Construction related Bachelor degree is preferred.
