POSITION SUMMARY:
The Motorcoach Operator plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and first-class transportation services to our clients. This position requires exceptional driving expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to providing an outstanding passenger experience. Operators are responsible for adhering to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and service at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation for clients to a variety of destinations as assigned.
  • Create a welcoming and elevated passenger experience by anticipating client needs and offering professional assistance with luggage and personal belongings.
  • Deliver service that reflects the company's commitment to excellence, ensuring each trip is comfortable, efficient, and discreet.
  • Present a polished, professional image at all times while safeguarding client confidentiality.
  • Exercise sound judgment and defensive driving techniques to promote the highest level of safety.
  • Proactively evaluate traffic patterns, weather conditions, and route changes to ensure on-time performance.
  • Partner closely with dispatch and operations to maintain seamless communication and service execution.
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections before and after each trip to uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Escalate maintenance concerns or service issues promptly to protect the reliability of the fleet.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting in a manner that prioritizes safety, comfort, and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Proven professional driving experience with a strong focus on passenger care and service.
  • Professional appearance with the ability to consistently represent the company in a polished manner.
  • Excellent judgment, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a track record of punctuality and dependability.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to serve a diverse and high-expectation clientele.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be comfortable driving and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for long-distance assignments, based on client needs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

SIGN-ON BONUS
RMA is proud to offer a sign-on bonus for eligible chauffeur positions, including Black Car Chauffeurs, Motorcoach Operators, and Shuttle Ambassadors.
  • Full-time: $1,200
  • Part-time: $600

Eligibility begins after 90 days of continuous employment, recognizing team members who demonstrate reliability and commitment. Once eligible, the bonus is paid in equal monthly installments through payroll (12 installments for full-time employees and 6 installments for part-time employees).
Employees must remain actively employed and in good standing to receive each installment. Any unpaid installments will be forfeited upon separation from the company. This program is designed to support retention and does not constitute guaranteed compensation.
