Our Clinical Support Staff Educator is a key member of the clinical operations team, responsible for providing both direct patient care and training support across all locations. This role serves as a clinical resource and educator, ensuring consistency in workflows, high-quality patient care, and effective use of systems such as Epic. This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, Medical Assistant competency, and positive patient outcomes.

Position Highlights:

  • This is a full-time hybrid role involving 8 hours weekday shifts, clinical hours, occasional after hours, weekend, and travel required.
  • We operate in a busy, fast-paced environment, and we seek a candidate who thrives under such conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train Medical Assistants on clinical workflows, EMR, and administrative processes
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to staff to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance
  • Support and reinforce best practices in documentation, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality standards
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, observation, and performance data; identify and address gaps
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and provide recommendations for process improvement
  • Educate Medical Assistant staff on value-based care initiatives and quality performance measures
  • Partner with clinic leadership to implement and maintain policies and procedures
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and training efforts across locations
  • Perform full Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers, and documenting in the EMR while maintaining all HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinic workflows, policies, and procedures through regular clinical shifts
  • Adapt quickly to varying clinic environments, teams, and provider preferences
  • Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and customer service across all locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidates must have a High School Diploma, or equivalent required. Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program with active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials required. Although, an associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in related field, highly preferred. Along with 1-3 or more years of relevant healthcare experience providing training in a variety of settings encompassing different training approaches, previous development and implementation of training programs.
