What Youโ€™ll Do:

Responsible for providing superior customerservice, on-time service delivery and maximizing the profitability for a defined dedicated account with approximately 1-50 trucks and/or 1-50 drivers; position can be located either onsite at a customerโ€™s or USX designated location. This includes driver, office and customer related issues. Creates a sense of partnership between the customer and USX.
Manages all aspects (e.g., resolving complaints, reviews, payroll, home time, terminations) related to drivers and office employees and ensure all company policies & procedures are adhered to.
Ensures all fleet maintenance programs are current on tractors and trailers.
Develops a sense of trust and integrity with the customer.
Accounts for all shipments via a weekly service report.
Actively engages with necessary USX departments (e.g. billing, etc.) to ensure smooth operation for the dedicated account.
Reviews all credit collection and aging reports to increase cash flow.
Ensures equipment and drivers are in place to provide onโ€‘time service and meet the demands of the customer.
Analyzes volume figures to forecast surges in business.
Manages all aspects of document control as is relates to the account.
Seek appropriate guidance from leadership on matters that could negatively impact USX financially.
Rotational offโ€‘site onโ€‘call duty, nights/weekends.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

Education
Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Experience
Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience in logistics.
Minimum of 3 year leadership experience required; coaching for higher performance experience preferred.
Understanding of the distribution process required for success.

Skills/Certifications
Proficient interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required; ability to exchange information effectively and tactfully, strong diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others (colleagues / customers), interactive listening in order to negotiate with others, often at a senior level.
Advanced computer skills required; experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Internet and applicable company specific applications.
Excellent analytical skills; able to think โ€œoutside the box.โ€
Knowledge of regulations impacting daily operations (DOT hours of service).
Taking initiative and assertiveness skills.
