Lititz – Driver/Transportation Aide

We’re currently seeking dedicated Transportation Aides at Luther Acres Healthcare Center, a Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. We are currently hiring for a PT, 30 hours bi-weekly position.

WHAT YOU DO:

As a Transportation Aide at Luther Acres, you’re an integral part of ensuring our residents are comfortable by providing safe travel. You’ll do this in several ways, including:

· Operating a vehicle to transport Healthcare Center residents, volunteers, supplies/mail and staff to various locations.

· Maintaining the vehicle in good operating condition to include scheduling state inspection and mechanical maintenance and repairs, basic cleaning, filling oil and gasoline, etc., or reporting maintenance concerns to the appropriate person and following up to ensure that the issue receives proper attention.

· Answering the telephone, operating a copy machine, sorting mail. May perform basic clerical duties or other tasks to aid at designated centers as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED:

· Three years of safe motor vehicle operation, including a Motor Vehicle Record History that is considered acceptable

· A valid PA Driver’s License

Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization.
