Coordinating Teacher for Transition Services. Stipend amount $1,482. Stipend amount is per the teacher contract Differential Schedule, Appendix B. This position may be filled only by a qualified TPS educator. The stipend is pensionable and does affect TRB if the position-holder's certification and teaching assignment agree with the position's area of concentration.
Performance Responsibilities include: Works collaboratively with Post-Secondary Transition Staff and Supervisor. Serves as liaison between parents and the school district and between school district and outside agencies. Assists families in facilitating home based referrals to outside agencies. Serves as designee of Post-Secondary Transition PPT meetings. Attends Post-Secondary conferences/professional developments. Shares learned knowledge with Post-Secondary Transition staff. Carries out other duties as assigned.
