Responsibilities

The Transformation Program Director plays a key role in the delivery of major programs and initiatives. This role allows for project management discipline to be built into and maintained in the all Transformation programs/projects and key initiatives. The Transformation Program Director's primary role is to manage transformation programs, such as new business startups, closedowns of divisions, major change activity for existing divisions, and key transformation programs across MV. This role is accountable to oversee each assigned program through a standard governance model, which includes but not limited to, program financial management, schedule management, implementation and handoff to operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop or understand the scope of the programs.
  • Manage activities across multiple functional areas.
  • Manage pre-transition planning and strategy sessions.
  • Maintain a cadence for reporting for all transformation programs.
  • Identify any risks associated with the program and coordinate a mitigation plan with the program team.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews of transformation program KPIs.
  • Financial control and management against program budgets.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with key cross functional leaders.
  • Educate and coach transformation program teams on required disciplines to run the program.
  • Engage in pre-sales support and solutioning for transformation costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement turning lessons learned into process improvements and best practices.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • 20+ years' experience in project/program management managing large complex programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of transformation/change management.
  • Communication with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams to achieve program success.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization with diplomacy at different levels.
  • Ability to drive creative problem solving, and conflict resolution to daily tasks.
  • Must be well-organized detail-oriented, and disciplined.
  • Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrable Client and Relationship Management (internal and/or external) and P&L management.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and/or mentoring resources.
  • Experience managing teams in a matrix organization.
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred, MBA a plus.
  • Able to travel up to 75% of the time.
