Job description

Job Title: Transaction Processor - CT Job ID: 87491 Location: Hartford, Connecticut Overview: Reporting to a Transaction Processing Supervisor, the Transaction Processing Associate is responsible to work on various Transaction Processing projects. These projects involve researching, analyzing and updating consumer information utilizing different systems. Qualified candidates will bring a positive approach to meeting the high demands of a busy work environment. What you will be doing:
  • Consistently display a professional attitude towards company employees, Consumers, Access Health, DSS and activities.
  • Process case maintenance transactions and perform all tasks accurately within the procedural guidelines and without errors.
  • Evaluate and determine eligibility of medical expenses for medical program.
  • Communicate with the client through verbal or written communication.
  • Screen Consumers by data entering information into Eligibility Determination System.
  • Meet or exceed the Daily Productivity standards for each task performed.
  • Meet performance standards for Quality, as defined in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) with no errors.
  • Exhibit exemplary customer service internally and externally. Consistently meet or exceed customer's needs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding and knowledge of the procedures and operating systems used to perform your work.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks, to meet contract guidelines.
  • Report to work on time and ready to perform daily responsibilities at the start of your shift.
  • Be relied on to accomplish the best possible results and consistent.
What you must have:
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, remain flexible and adapt to change with a positive approach.
  • Proficiency (or ability to be trained) with company standard software and PC systems.
  • Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback.
  • Ability to achieve results through knowledge, commitment and attention to detail and to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to detect, document and correct quality issues.
  • Ability to work with limited direction after initial training.
  • Ability to Type at least 40 WPM
  • Must have either 1 year of previous experience or an associate degree or higher if no experience
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
