Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Transaction Manager for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods. Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope. Consult traders or other financial industry personnel to determine the need for new or improved analytical applications. Collaborate with product development teams to research, model, validate, or implement quantitative structured solutions for new or expanded markets. Prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers. Support the building and development of the team supporting loan origination and lifecycle management which includes large complex syndicated and bilateral loans covering but not limited to corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending and trade. Create processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management. Design and implement technology including testing and rollout. Produce and provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents. Partner with each of the originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc. to ensure strategic vision is enabled. Ensure that quality of data, controls and processes performed meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations, via staff management. Work with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to ensure all stakeholders have end-to-end transparency. Constantly improve processes, controls and efficiencies within the group and front to back across loan lifecycle. Support projects to enhance performance and efficiency. Actively perform and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions. Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, and perform quality control. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation improving processes, controls and efficiencies across the loan lifecycle. Six (6) years of experience must include: Performing wholesale lending, financing and securitization for international trade finance, supply chain finance, receivable finance and trade loans; Supporting international trade products, including commercial letters of credit, collections, open accounts, working capital finances, accounts receivable and supplier finance programs; Utilizing loan documentation, including loan agreements, promissory notes, guaranty, and security instruments; Working with wholesale loan products and businesses, including loan or funding mechanics, deal structures, and funds flows; Utilizing tableau or visualization tools for data reporting and gathering; Performing in-depth evaluations of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems, including the automation of reports, optimization of high-volume data processing and business transformation including Rules, Metadata, and processes; and Working with loan IQ, flex cube, Helios/lynx and trade applications for transaction capture. 40 hrs./wk.
