This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, follow-through, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with borrowers, counsel, title companies, warehouse lenders, custodians, agency partners, and internal departments throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Prepare, review, and approve lender statements, escrow analyses, settlement statements, accounting reconciliations, and detailed sources and uses summaries.
  • Prepare warehouse funding packages and coordinate funding activities, including wire approvals and funding authorizations.
  • Review final loan documentation and facilitate resolution of outstanding closing and post-closing issues.
  • Ensure required documents and deliverables are accurately maintained within company systems and delivered within established deadlines.
  • Support Fannie Mae C&D and other agency delivery requirements in coordination with the C&D Lead and Post-Closing teams.
  • Maintain transaction records, closing schedules, status reports, and pipeline tracking tools.
  • Identify transaction risks and proactively drive issue resolution while balancing business objectives and risk management considerations.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvements, training, and special projects as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate lending, transaction management, loan closing, post-closing, underwriting, or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, bridge lending, warehouse lending, and commercial real estate loan documentation.
  • Experience with Fannie Mae C&D, DocWay, Hyperion, MIDAS, or similar loan origination, delivery, and document management systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, business partners, and all levels of management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills, including the ability to balance business objectives with prudent risk management.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Self-motivated team player with a high attention to detail, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to think strategically, drive issue resolution, and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat/PDF applications.
