You will…
- Lead the end-to-end strategic design and continuous improvement of core VO and FS training curriculum.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training policies and learning practices aligned with operational goals.
- Ensure rigorous version control and audit-readiness of all training documentation and materials.
- Guarantee all training records meet internal compliance standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Manage and scale new-hire onboarding and professional development programs across all operational sites.
- Collaborate with operational leadership and trainers to oversee effective program implementation.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to the future Training Specialist team.
- Design and maintain a performance scale to track VO/FS skill development and measure training efficacy.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure instructional consistency across all sites.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Safety, and Ops to integrate tech updates into training programs.


Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in L&D, training, or operations within transportation or AV industries.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct people management experience, specifically scaling programs or leading strategic curriculum design.
- Proven experience vetting, selecting, and implementing a new Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and a passion for self-driving technologies.
- 10% travel required.


Bonus:
- Direct experience training personnel on the operation of Class 8 vehicles or similar complex machinery.
