The position leads training staff, establishes training priorities and requirements, monitors compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies, and evaluates training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement. This is a full-time position, Exempt position, working Monday through Friday. Saturday and evening hours may be required occasionally. Hours are flexible and should be scheduled to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position and meet with supervisor’s approval. Basic Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lead Bello Machre's training program, ensuring the effective delivery and administration of training that supports organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, employee competency, and the delivery of quality, person-centered services. Develop, implement, and maintain training programs and curricula based on regulatory requirements, organizational policies and procedures, identified competency needs, and operational priorities. Lead and manage training staff, including assigning responsibilities, providing guidance and support, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for staff development and improvement. Ensure training programs and requirements remain current and compliant with applicable DDA, COMAR, licensing, accreditation, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Quality Director to identify, develop, implement, and evaluate compliance-related training based on regulatory requirements, audit findings, incident trends, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational needs. Partner with Human Resources, the Quality Director, and organizational leaders to identify training needs and competency gaps and develop appropriate training solutions. Lead Bello Machre's new employee orientation and onboarding training, ensuring required training is appropriately scheduled, communicated, completed, and documented. Provide leadership and accountability for the Learning Management System and training records, ensuring accurate employee information, course assignments, completion records, certifications, and reporting. Establish and maintain training schedules and calendars, ensuring required training is accessible to employees across departments and work locations. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and use training data, feedback, and other appropriate measures to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor training compliance and provide regular reports and updates to leadership regarding training completion, compliance concerns, trends, and other relevant training information. Ensure trainers and external training providers maintain required qualifications and certifications. Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations, industry practices, and training requirements and incorporate relevant changes into Bello Machre's training programs. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external training partners and vendors to support organizational training needs and ensure the quality and effectiveness of training resources. Ensure training records and documentation are maintained in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and audit requirements and support Bello Machre's preparation for regulatory reviews, audits, and surveys. Monitor MANDT, CPR/First Aid, Certified Medical Technician (CMT), Nursing Practicals, CNA, and other required certifications and training to ensure employees complete initial and recertification training as required and remain compliant with applicable requirements. Manage training expenditures, ensuring resources are used effectively and appropriately. Other duties as assigned.
