The Manager, Training & Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of both advisors and departmental employees. This role ensures training strategies align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a strategic training plan for new and existing advisors and employees across all operating group department.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, performance data, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Design engaging learning programs, including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and skill-specific workshops.
  • Oversee the creation of training materials, e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions.
  • Partner with department heads to ensure training content is relevant, up-to-date, and impactful.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, adjusting programs as needed for maximum ROI.
  • Manage training budgets, vendor relationships, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of training specialists and facilitators.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and continuing education requirements.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training technologies. Certifications preferred
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
