About NextDeavor

NextDeavor is a human-first, AI-powered recruiting firm blending automation with relationship-driven recruiting. Our proprietary platform enhances every stage of the hiring journey—from intelligent sourcing to scalable service delivery—so our recruiters focus on connecting with people and building aligned, high-performing teams across tech, engineering, marketing, finance, HR, and operations

Founded in 2015, we serve clients ranging from startups to enterprise organizations. In 2025, we were acquired by Pioneers to accelerate our vision of building the most efficient, scalable, and human recruiting platform in the industry.

Here's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity:

We’re seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager with an established book of business to join us remotely (preferably East Coast). This role will focus on growing our contract, temporary staffing, and managed services footprint among MSPs, VMSs, and large enterprise clients—leveraging our AI recruiting platform’s ability to deliver service at scale.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on our team:

  • Drive new business development by leveraging your existing relationships and proven track record in staffing, MSP/VMS, or enterprise HR services.
  • Target and secure enterprise-level accounts, particularly in contract and temp workforce management.
  • Partner with internal teams to tailor solutions that showcase NextDeavor’s AI-driven sourcing, matching, and service delivery capabilities.
  • Present, negotiate, and close deals that align with client needs and NextDeavor’s scalable recruitment model.
  • Own and manage client accounts post-sale to maximize satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, delivery, and marketing to ensure seamless client onboarding and execution.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven success in business development or sales within staffing, MSP, VMS, or enterprise talent acquisition—specifically in contract, temp, or volume hiring.
  • A robust, active book of business with enterprise-level prospects.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, present, negotiate, and close high-value contracts.
  • Understanding of how AI-enabled recruiting platforms can enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a remote-first work approach (East Coast preference).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with or within large HR tech environments is a plus.
Benefits at NextDeavor you'll love:
  • Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision
  • 401k options
  • Competitive base + commission structure
  • Access to our proprietary AI recruiting platform to amplify your sourcing power
  • Work on high-profile enterprise MSP accounts
  • Flexibility to work remotely with a highly collaborative team
  • Opportunity to shape the future of tech-enabled staffing
  • Be part of a dynamic, AI-forward recruiting firm transforming how hiring gets done—at scale and with a human touch.
  • Leverage our AI-driven platform that enhances sourcing, candidate insights, onboarding—so you can sell confidently and scale efficiently
  • Join a growing team post-acquisition, with access to strategic resources, enterprise clients, and opportunity for lasting impact.

Ready to take the next step?

If you’re a seasoned business development professional with an established enterprise book of business—especially in contract/temp staffing or MSP/VMS services—and are excited by the power of AI-driven recruiting at scale, we want to hear from you.

Please send:

  • Your resume
  • A brief summary of your relevant book of business (industries, client types, territory)
  • A cover note explaining why you’re a fit for NextDeavor’s growth journey
