Training Facilitator

The Opportunity:

As a trainer, you're passionate about developing differentiated instruction and delivering it in exciting ways. You know that learning styles vary, and you thrive in helping people grasp new information. Bring your passion for developing and delivering a group of training programs to our Army team.

As a trainer on our team, you'll provide in-person and hybrid instruction for our government partners through live, virtual, and gaming instruction. You'll showcase your technical expertise and industry knowledge, and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. In this role, you will be armed with the resources you need to excel, including tools, systems, sites, and customer support.

Be empowered to tap into your creative thinking, influencing, technology, intuition, and leadership experience to develop, manage, and deliver training using Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Design Thinking, the ADDIE model, and Merrill's Principles of Instruction to create learning objectives, ensuring a variety of learning styles for learners' needs. You'll use training materials, resources, media, technology, and delivery to cultivate a learning environment that actively promotes learner engagement. We value the skills you bring to ensure we're delivering the best quality of instruction. This position is located in Bluffdale, UT.

What You'll Work On:

  • Ensure unity of command in supporting Training Readiness Authority (TRA) by developing and executing home station individual and collective training strategies incorporating multiple assets and delivery methodologies.
  • Provide stand-up classroom instruction.
  • Coordinate with garrison and state activities to improve training facilities and ranges.
  • Employ Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), including Army Games for Training (GFT).
  • Assess, update, and deliver training and associated products.
  • Coordinate with commanders and assist units with planning virtual and live training.
  • Execute specialized education and training when needed for Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), biometrics, explosive hazards, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation, intelligence support, Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS), and movement and maneuver.
  • Comprehend the interrelationship between hybrid, asymmetric, and warfighting functions.
  • Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard equipment and training resources.
  • Assist with planning virtual and live training across multiple sites.
  • Provide continuity and expertise that enables awareness and effective use of assets to support training.
  • Develop and deliver training integrating warfighting functions into major combat operations with a hybrid threat model.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with the U.S. Army
  • 4+ years of experience leading training
  • 4+ years of experience developing exercises
  • 4+ years of experience delivering exercise support
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing GFT, including VBS3
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Battle Staff and training warfighting functions
  • Experience with deployments in military operations
  • Experience with CEMA
  • Experience as an Observer Controller (OC)
  • Experience with military exercise design and delivery, and conducting After Action Reviews (AAR)
  • Experience with training exercise operational support
  • Experience with MDO or LSCO
  • Experience with Counter-Explosive Hazard (C-EH) and C-sUAS training
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
