Job description

We are a food business seeking an experienced bookkeeper to start immediately. This is a terrific position at a growing Utah company with a fun and lively atmosphere. Unlimited potential for growth and advancement. Candidate needs to be a tech-savvy accounting professional with a love of learning. In this role, you will serve as our in house bookkeeper and our "go-to" person for all things financial.


Job Duties Include:

- Use multiple softwares to complete tasks

- Process incoming Purchase Orders

- Verifying shipments, lot codes, and other data

- Create & send invoices to customers for fulfilled orders

- Process incoming payments & track sales commissions for multiple people

- Investigate & resolve payment discrepancies

- Input and pay bills accurately and on time

- Assisting with inventory and ordering of raw materials

- Enter, review and reconcile all financial transactions in Quickbooks Online

- Maintain records for approved suppliers/vendors, including W9s, insurance certificates, and compliance documents

- Using technology, AI tools, and workflow automation to improve organization and efficiency.

- Creating and/or improving simple processes for recurring administrative tasks

- Proactively identify outstanding tasks and follow up to make sure nothing falls through the cracks

- Assist with other administrative, operational and financial tasks as needed


Our ideal candidate:

- Has at least 5 years experience in bookkeeping and at least 2 years experience using QuickBooks Online

- Is tech-savvy and quick to learn new software

- Has strong working knowledge of basic software such as Excel, Word, and email applications

- Has exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization

- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times

- Has a friendly and adaptable demeanor with a "can-do" attitude

- Is willing to help the team with other tasks as needed
