Are you passionate about developing people and building high-impact training programs that drive business results? We're looking for a Training & Development Manager to lead site-wide learning strategy, strengthen workforce capability, and support long-term organizational success.
In this role, you'll partner cross-functionally to align training, talent development, and change management initiatives with business goals. From designing scalable learning programs to leading organizational change efforts, you'll play a key role in building a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and operational excellence.
Strong talent and effective training are key drivers of operational success. In this role, you'll shape how employees learn, grow, and adapt ensuring the organization has the skills, knowledge, and leadership needed to meet today's demands and future challenges.
How You Will Make an Impact:
• Lead site-wide learning and development strategy, designing and implementing programs that align with operational goals and future capability needs
• Assess and close skill and knowledge gaps, partnering with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop targeted development plans
• Drive organizational change initiatives, developing and executing change management strategies that support adoption of new systems, processes, and structures
• Lead talent development and succession planning, supporting leadership development, talent reviews, and long-term workforce planning
• Design high-impact training programs and content, applying instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences
• Develop diverse training materials and delivery methods, including instructor-led training, job aids, coaching tools, and multimedia content
• Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams, ensuring training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned to business needs
• Implement training technologies and measurement strategies, evaluating program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data
• Establish knowledge capture and retention systems, preserving critical operational knowledge and supporting long-term capability building
• Support leaders and teams through change, providing guidance, communication, and tools to ensure successful transitions
• Standardize training processes and documentation, ensuring compliance, consistency, and effective tracking of training activities and outcomes
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops, equipping employees with the skills needed to succeed in evolving roles
• Collaborate across sites and teams, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement in training and development efforts
The Essentials
  • 6 years of instructional design experience
  • 6 years of experience developing training material
  • 2 years of experience leading a training, development or HR team
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and assessment strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to various Hoffmaster locations and professional development seminars and conferences

Optional but Impressive:
  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Training or Related Field
