The Health Services Life Enrichment team at Givens Estates, a nonprofit continuing care retirement community, is hiring for 2 part-time Life Enrichment Associates. This is a vital role that will help facilitate and support Life Enrichment programs for our residents. The schedule for this role will be:

Every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30AM to 5PM, plus one 4 hour day during the week.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate scheduled life enrichment programs and related activities in team and individual settings
  • Work collaboratively within the Life Enrichment Department across all levels of care, and collaborate with other departments as needed to support life enrichment programming.
  • Provides accurate and timely attendance information, participation notes, and program‑day updates to the Administrative Team Lead to support roster management, registrations, and departmental record
  • Supports the execution of programs and events through setup and teardown of spaces. Interacts with residents in a professional, welcoming manner to support engagement in Life Enrichment programs
  • Provides coverage for the reception desk as assigned, supporting front‑desk operations, resident assistance, and general departmental continuity
  • Operates Givens vehicles to transport residents based on assigned duties to support programs and activities both on and off campus, subject to weather and safety conditions
  • Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in recreation, arts, wellness, or related fields preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience working with older adults, in customer service, recreation, hospitality, healthcare, or service‑oriented environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting group activities, programs, events, or community engagement preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe, as required by assigned duties
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required; commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe, may be required based on assigned transportation duties
  • Willingness and ability to work with individuals of varying physical, cognitive, and emotional ability levels

Compensation is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
