The Position:
  • We’re looking for Traffic Coordinator. The pay range we’re offering is based on experience.

Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for daily interaction with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and remain flexible to meet business and customer demands.
  • Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to effectively implement solutions or respond to change.
  • Experience in using ERP systems, a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Development and communication of daily shipping schedule for shipping and receiving needs.
  • Prepares shipping/receiving documents in a timely manner and coordinates transportation of customer orders and incoming inventory.
  • Analyze delivery costs and recommends cost effective methods of transportation and continuously reviews carrier performance and assist in negotiating freight agreements to ensure best price and service practices to meet on-time delivery needs.
  • Review daily driver logs, daily mileage sheets, delivery log sheets, and vehicle inspection results and ensure all required reports, filings, and documents to maintain the Fleet Program.
