What is my role?

The Traffic Coordinator (Import Production Coordinator) is responsible for managing the flow of communication, documentation, and product movement between suppliers, internal teams, and distribution partners. This role ensures orders produced domestically and internationally are accurately received, processed, tracked, and fulfilled on time. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate routing, and efficient coordination across departments to support production and fulfillment goals.


What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order status, shipping schedules, and documentation requirements
  • Issue POs, routing instructions and shipping requirements to vendors
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely production and shipment.
  • Track vendor compliance with routing, labeling, and packaging requirements
  • Ensure all required garments, materials, artwork, and data are delivered to outsourced print partners on time.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and distribution centers
  • Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve delays
  • Schedule shipments and maintain accurate records in internal systems
  • Monitor performance metrics (on-time shipping, accuracy, compliance)
  • Proactively identify risks and coordinate solutions across teams.
  • Maintain organized documentation and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Partner with Production, Planning, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align timelines
  • Provide regular updates on shipment status and potential risks
  • Support problem resolution related to delays, shortages, or damaged goods
  • Develop reporting and provide daily/weekly/monthly updates of shipment status.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, traffic coordination, vendor management, or supply chain operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Amazon 1P, third-party marketplaces, or wholesale order flows preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
