THE ROLE

Using a foundational understanding of related disciplines, the individual independently covers assigned desk(s), leveraging deep investment and operational expertise to support trading and investment teams. Responsibilities include managing key middle-office functions such as trade matching, handling sell-side inquiries, ensuring trading system data integrity, preparing reports, overseeing document preparation, and conducting internal control reviews to mitigate process risk. The position involves solving complex problems, working with minimal guidance, and may include leading projects or ongoing activities.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Proactively introduces innovative approaches when performing trade date matching of equity, fixed income and derivative trades utilizing CTM, Heliograph, and other industry applications. Manages matching MFS trade details with the counterparty on trade date working with various US and Non-US brokers.

  • To support client-aligned solution, sets priority of inquiries into their trading desk coverage from sell side broker operations and sales offices, MFS Operations (trade settlements, pricing, and performance groups) and MFS Compliance.

  • Provides insights and evidence supporting controls during the preparation and review of Director of Trading reporting and other risk mitigation reporting packages on a daily, monthly, quarterly and semiannual basis to identify, rectify, and escalate anomalies.

  • Demonstrating adaptability and intellectual curiosity, seeks opportunities for self and team development by collaborating with departments/teams across the firm, including global investment technology support, compliance and others to assist with and drive process improvements for new account setup, account transitions and security setup.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5-6+ years financial services experience.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Personal initiative/problem solving skills/strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to cover off-hour shifts when needed.

Base Salary Range: $79,000.00 - $113,000.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

This range reflects our good-faith expectation forwhat we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education.
