Calling All Caregivers: Work every other Sunday to Saturday (FT/PT)
Hammond Location
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
Join OPTIONS as a dedicated Direct Service Worker (DSW) and help us make a meaningful difference, one smile at a time. We offer a consistent 7 days on/ 7 days off - Sunday - Saturday schedule allowing you to make a lasting impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide personalized companion care: Assist individuals with daily tasks like meal prep, light housekeeping, personal care, and transportation.
  • Support social engagement: Facilitate activities and outings that promote connection, socialization, and community integration.

  • Collaborate with a supportive team: Work closely with other Direct Service Workers, supervisors, and families to ensure the best possible care.

If you have experience as a program manager, case manager, registered nurse, direct care supervisor, or qualified intellectual disability professional (QIDP), your skills are highly regarded. We also appreciate candidates with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualifications and backgrounds in social work, supervision, management, and leadership roles.
Your experience in various fields such as nursing homes, retail, warehouse, hospitality, teaching, and human services is considered an asset.
