An Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) employed by VHC Health Physicians (Physician Group) is required to complete an APP Agreement with their Collaborating Physician(s). This Agreement will describe the APPs role and function, APP/Physician Relationship, Functions of the APP, Privileges/Procedures, Prescriptive Authority, Documentation Responsibilities and Evaluation process.Overall, the APP will support objectives, budget, performance metrics and medical activities at an Individual level including implementation of quality control standards, risk management and compliance programs.
Experience:
- Two Years Nurse Practitioner Preferred
Certification/Licensure:
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions Required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions Required for NPs
