Job Summary

Based in Florida, this dynamic role combines high-level machine tool sales with the potential additional responsibility of management and coaching depending upon experience. Compensation is highly competitive and structured to reward both your sales success and leadership impact. The position will focus on driving immediate sales impact and improving market share in the Florida territory. It can be structured as a producing Sales Manager/Sales Coach or a strong individual contributor salesperson, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the assigned territory
  • Hunt for new business, manage existing accounts, and build strong customer relationships quickly.
  • Sell machine tools and accessories
  • Achieve sales targets
  • For candidates with management/coaching aptitude: Oversee and coach 3 salespeople and provide guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing for lead support and service for customer success.

Requirements

  • Proven machine tool sales experience
  • Ability to hunt new business, manage accounts, and close deals effectively.
  • Strong local relationships in Florida, ideally with the ability to walk in the back door at key accounts.
  • Drive, ambition, and a track record of high performance

Preferred Requirements

  • Sales management or coaching experience (highly valued but not strictly required; a strong individual contributor ready to step into coaching is welcome).
  • Experience selling into larger corporations and major accounts, especially aerospace and defense (e.g., SpaceX, Lockheed Martin, GE, and other Space Coast customers).
  • Existing knowledge of the Florida market and key accounts.
  • Ability to serve as a great salesperson that wants to coach.
  • Experience or interest in focusing on high-potential areas like the Space Coast.

Compensation/BenefitsCompensation is flexible and tailored to the candidate’s experience and role type (salesperson, coach, or manager).

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 depending on if you're a sales person, a sales person/coach, or a sales manager
  • Commission: 25% of gross margin for pure salespeople dependent upon salary; overrides (e.g., 5%) available for coaching/management responsibilities.
  • Earnings Potential: Strong performers can reach $200K–$300K+
  • Transition guarantees possible
