Job description

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Used Work Tool Sales Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. The Used Work Tool Sales Specialist is responsible for buying and selling attachments following Carter Machinery guidelines to achieve profitability goals and objectives. The Used Work Tool Sales Specialist will aid in the administration of sales, trade-ins and purchases of used work tools by the Retail Sales Team. Seeking candidates with previous experience working in sales support, procurement or project management; Heavy equipment knowledge, preferred; College degree in related field, preferred.
Requirements for the Used Work Tool Sales Specialist position include:
  • General knowledge of heavy equipment work tools and industry.

  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
