Job Title: Used Work Tool Sales Specialist
Location: Richmond, Virginia
The Used Work Tool Sales Specialist is responsible for buying and selling attachments following Carter Machinery guidelines to achieve profitability goals and objectives. The Used Work Tool Sales Specialist will aid in the administration of sales, trade-ins and purchases of used work tools by the Retail Sales Team.
Requirements for the Used Work Tool Sales Specialist position include:
  • General knowledge of heavy equipment work tools and industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to function well in a fast-paced and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Frequent travel is required - overnight or out town via car or airplane
  • Promote positive customer experience

Seeking candidates with:
  • Previous experience working in sales support, procurement or project management
  • Heavy equipment knowledge, preferred
