Position Summary
Future Service Manager opportunities with Tom Wood Auto Group are responsible for leading all aspects of dealership service operations, including customer satisfaction, employee development, technician productivity, workflow management, and financial performance. Potential Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatchers, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service experiences.
  • Monitor and improve key service department performance metrics.
  • Manage shop productivity, technician efficiency, and repair order flow.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, and company policies.
  • Partner with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing service teams.
  • Oversee department profitability, labor sales growth, and expense management.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional service operation.
Qualifications
  • Previous automotive service management, fixed operations, or dealership leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dealership service operations and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets, productivity, and profitability.
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems and service technology platforms.
