Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships by generating leads, scheduling meetings, and following up.
  • Provide accurate, friendly assistance on insurance products, coverage, claims, and billing inquiries.
  • Educate customers using a needs-based, customer-centric approach to recommend suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team while showing enthusiasm for helping customers manage risk and achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an Alabama P&C/Life & Health License prior to starting the position (licensing & testing fees will be reimbursed).
  • A year of experience in customer service type roles is required (does not have to be specific to insurance).
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required (we have a lot of Spanish speaking customers that we assist on a daily basis).

This role is with an independent State Farm agent, not directly employed by State Farm Insurance Companies. Successful candidates must complete any required licensing and training. State Farm agents operate independently and hire their own staff.
