Start Date: ASAP Duration: Permanent Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000 base (OTE: $120,000 - $150,000) Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship . Job Description:
  • This field-based Business Development Manager role is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and growing gross margin revenue across a multi-state sign and graphics territory covering Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Job Summary
  • Drive new business development through proactive outbound prospecting, field visits, and strategic phone outreach across an assigned multi-state territory.
  • Execute 20-25 meaningful customer conversations per day on in-office days through structured time blocking and territory planning.
  • Visit 5-10 accounts per day while traveling, prioritizing large prospect accounts while balancing maintenance and to-be-qualified relationships.
  • Manage travel schedule 3-4 days per week, confirming all customer visits in advance and responding to missed calls and texts within 2 hours and emails within 24 hours.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to log all customer contacts, enter notes immediately after each interaction, and maintain accurate account status and pipeline records.
  • Analyze sales data regularly to identify trends, evaluate territory performance, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Conduct bi-weekly territory reviews with an internal sales representative to align on priorities and pipeline progress.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of outside or field sales experience with a demonstrated hunter mindset and track record of new business development.
  • Stable tenure, with clear examples of exceeding activity and revenue expectations.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Must be based in Orlando, FL with a valid driver's license and the ability to travel 60-70% of the time throughout the FL, GA, and SC territory.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-state field sales territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in industrial distribution, sign and graphics, or related product sales.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce map guide feature for travel planning and account routing.
  • Experience in a rotational sales program or structured sales development program with a strong activity-based performance culture.
