Job description

Title: Accountant

Location: Kentucky River Community Care.ย  Hazard/Jackson/Lexington Remote work possible.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Credentials: Requires BA/BS in business related area with a minimum of 15 hours of accounting, and 5 Years relevant experience. Experience may substitute for degree.

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel. Organized and detail oriented. Familiar with operations of ERP systems.

Primary Functions:
-prepare and examine financial statements and/or subsidiary records.
-month end closing procedures.
-Internal/External Data Analysis and reporting
-Financial compliance, such as IRS regulations, state/local tax law/ordinance updates, etc.
-Participate in process improvement activities as requested.

Shift/Days & Work Hours:ย  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30:pm.
