Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting a broad range of technical duties to ensure that Dance One technical operations happen seamlessly.  AV technicians will assist in the set up audio, lighting, video and staging equipment as directed by management and will operate any and all such equipment as required and trained to do. 
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of how to build industry standard structures like truss and staging.
  • Knowledge of the basics of cabling for general AV purposes.
  • Assist in the set up and operation of AV equipment subject to specific training and oversight when required.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex problems to senior technicians.
  • Support team efficiency by working quickly and effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations.
  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure coordinated execution of technical tasks.
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs and capacity to stay on your feet doing physically demanding work for at least 10 to 12 hours when required.
