Job description

Position: Registered Behavior Technician

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Hazard, KY

Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Pay Rate: $16 hourly

Credentials: High School diploma or GED (relevant Bachelor's degree preferred). Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (will be offered).

Special skills: Experience working with children and strong communication/teamwork skills.

Summary: provides direct, one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental or behavioral needs.

Primary functions:

  • Implement ABA therapy - behavior intervention plans under supervision of Boar Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect data on behavior.
  • Implement reinforcement and teaching procedures assigned by BCBA.
  • Implement treatment plans.
  • Complete RBT certification
