Join our growing restoration team and play a critical role in restoring customers’ clothing, textiles, and personal belongings after fire, water, or mold damage.
Seeking a hardworking, highly organized, and detail-driven
Textile & Contents Restoration Laborer to support our Contents and Textile Restoration division. This warehouse-based role is ideal for candidates with
professional textile, laundry, garment care, dry cleaning, or fabric handling experience who understand the importance of proper washing, sorting, organization, and maintaining strict separation of customer items.
This position focuses heavily on textile restoration while also supporting contents cleaning, inventory management, and occasional field pack-outs/move-backs as needed. Carpet cleaning or restoration experience is a plus, but
textile industry experience is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do:
- Â Wash, sort, clean, deodorize, and restore customer textiles, clothing, linens, and soft goods using specialized equipment and proven restoration methods.Â
- Â Maintain strict organization systems to ensure customer belongings are properly tracked, separated, and never mixed.Â
- Â Clean and restore personal property, including clothing, bedding, shoes, soft goods, electronics, furniture, and sentimental items.Â
- Â Inspect textiles for proper treatment methods based on fabric type, contamination, and restoration requirements.Â
- Â Organize, barcode, and track inventory using company systems and technology.Â
- Â Assist with pack-outs, transport, inventory, and move-backs at customer properties when needed.Â
- Â Alternate between textile and contents restoration duties depending on workload demands.Â
- Â Support occasional carpet cleaning or specialty cleaning projects as needed.Â
- Â Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety standards, and workflow efficiency.Â
- Â Work closely with management and team members to ensure exceptional quality control.Â
Requirements:
- Â High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Previous experience in textile services, laundry operations, dry cleaning, garment care, or fabric handling strongly preferred
- Â Strong sorting, washing, organization, and inventory management skillsÂ
- Â Proven attention to detail with the ability to prevent customer item mix-upsÂ
- Â Comfortable in a physically active role involving standing, lifting, and repetitive tasksÂ
- Â Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Â
- Â Willingness to assist with field work, pack-outs, and customer movesÂ
-  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record requiredÂ
- Â Reliable transportation preferredÂ
- Â Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitudeÂ
- Â Comfortable working around fire, smoke, water, or mold-damaged materials (PPE and training provided)Â
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Â Textile manufacturing, laundry services, dry cleaning, or clothing care industryÂ
- Â Restoration industry experienceÂ
- Â Carpet cleaning experienceÂ
- Â Familiarity with inventory systems such as ICAT or EncircleÂ
- Â Knowledge of deodorization techniques and specialty textile cleaning methodsÂ
