Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Textile Engineer to join our Mount Holly, NC manufacturing facility. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role supporting production efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across the operation.

You’ll work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to design, install, improve, and maintain equipment and facility systems while promoting safety, quality, and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, solving problems, and leading by example.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

· Support efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems

· Evaluate the work environment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards

· Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs

· Improve and utilize work order systems to ensure timely equipment repairs

· Coordinate projects with Operations to meet priorities and timelines

· Troubleshoot and improve facility systems (boilers, compressors, motors, HVAC, pumps, etc.)

· Design, quote, and build equipment, fixtures, and process aids (structure, wiring, sensors, processes)

· Modify existing equipment to meet evolving production requirements

· Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies

· Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment

· Communicate effectively with all departments and external partners

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance and meet performance standards

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Textile Engineering or a closely related field

· Experience in a textile or manufacturing environment

· Working knowledge of industrial equipment such as boilers, air compressors, motors, pumps, and HVAC systems

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD

· Strong understanding of safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement principles

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Willingness to lead by example and create accountability
