Job description

TEXTILE SEWING OPERATORS


Three (3) outstanding, full-time openings have become available with a well-established bedding manufacturer in the Dudley, MA area for individuals with a background in the sewing industry. This position would earn a generous wage of $27 up to $37 per hour (DOE) and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life insurance, PTO and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

(1) Sewing / Quilting Worker - 2nd Shift

  • Operate quilting, cutting, stitching, sewing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of set up, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair and perform basic maintenance on production machinery, such as Paragon and/or older legacy machines is PREFERRED.
  • Ensure product quality through inspections, measurements, and adherence to production standards.

(2) Tape Edge Sewer - 1st & 2nd Shift:

  • Operate and adjust a tape edge machine, such as the Atlanta Attachment Automatic or similar machines, to stitch and bind mattress/furniture edges.
  • Align mattress components accurately and ensure consistent, high-quality stitching and finished product standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Inspect finished mattresses for defects and ensure compliance with quality and production requirements.
