Techkon USA is experiencing exciting growth and we are looking for top selling Sales Managers to join our sales team. We are looking for highly motivated self-starters, with a proven track record in gaining new accounts.

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will have the assigned quota responsibility to use consultative selling skills to identify and secure new accounts within a defined market. We are looking for people who enjoy making connections and can identify potential customers in their territories. Successful candidates will be motivated and have excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Datacolor Sales Manager, you will spend most of your time:

  • Seek out, target and initiate contact with major prospective customers within assigned vertical market. Develop network of contacts. Qualify and assess targeted accounts.
  • Follow up on sourced leads generated by our inbound and outbound marketing activities.
  • Drive your own deals through a full-cycle sales funnel from qualifying to close.
  • Working closely with the Sales team, marketing department, and management to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Road Warrior, travel expectation approx. 60%-70%

First Year Goals Include:

  • Know all hardware and software products.
  • Develop and provide accurate and timely sales plans and forecasts and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets.
  • Work closely with sales management, inside sales, and marketing to build sales growth and customer satisfaction in the territory.

Experience & Qualifications:

We are looking for high energy, innovative self-starters, you have:

Required Experience:

  • Consistent track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Proven experience in proactively identifying and closing new account opportunities in an assigned market.
  • Ability to manage sales through forecasting and account strategy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in technical sales
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a technology industry is preferred
  • Ambitious, competitive-spirited and entrepreneurial-minded

Salary Range:

Base compensation of $80,000-$100,000 plus $50.000 commission based on the sales plan.

Typically, Datacolor aims to hire for this position at the midpoint of the range. However, in exceptional cases where an external candidate possesses significantly higher experience, credentials, or expertise than expected, Datacolor may consider offering a salary or rate towards the upper end of the range.
