Job description

Glen Raven is recruiting for a Process Technician which will patrol, operate, repair and schedule preventive maintenance. This position adds value to Glen Raven by their commitment to achieve the highest level of production, quality and safety as well as teamwork when preventing major breakdowns of production.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow company policies, safe work practices, prevent injury to yourself and other associates
  • Report any unsafe work condition or any work related injury to your supervisor immediately
  • Walk job - look for chokes, breakdowns or flags. Make repairs as needed
  • Check all machinery for quality or production problems
  • Make yarn and blend changes
  • Help clean spindles
  • Help size bobbins on spinning frames
  • Change travelers when needed
  • Fix flags when needed/maintenance
  • Replace belts as needed
  • Replace bobbin hangers

Experience and Education:

  • Previous experience in a textile manufacturing preferred
  • High School Diploma required
