Job description

Location: Cherryville, NC
Schedule: hours are M-F 7-3:30 Only emergency on call.
Pay:  $30/hr Based on Experience

Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining equipment, coordinating repairs, supporting production operations, and ensuring all locations operate efficiently and safely.


Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Travel between four company locations as needed to support maintenance operations.
  • Complete and submit a daily maintenance work log to the Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
  • Perform daily inspections and checks within the Beaming Department.
  • Assist the Beaming Supervisor with machine changeovers and equipment setup.
  • Maintain inventory control of maintenance tools, equipment, and repair parts.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Support production operations by responding to maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous maintenance management, industrial maintenance, or maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, vendors, and contractors.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be willing to travel between company locations.

Requirements

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
