Job description

Material Handler

At Standard Textile, we're dedicated to providing comfort and care across generations. The Material Handler will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, scanning, picking, and storage of product.

What will you do?

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to load & unload rolls of cloth and other products.
  • Perform all shipping and receiving functions and documents.
  • Maintain inventory with priority in accurate scanning/tracking.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
  • Maintain required forms and records.
  • Help to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous forklift operation experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to read/write English
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
