Description
The Process Engineer - Textile Dyeing will be responsible for optimizing dyeing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output while adhering to environmental and safety standards. This role involves analyzing production processes, implementing improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and sustainability.
  • Design, develop, and optimize textile dyeing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent quality.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and production teams to develop innovative dyeing techniques and formulations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct trials and experiments to test new dyes, chemicals, or equipment for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dyeing processes.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to production teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and sustainability practices.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on dyeing processes and equipment operation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, textile engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in textile dyeing or a similar process engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of dyeing techniques, chemical processes, and textile machinery.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable practices in textile production.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab for process optimization and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with dyeing software or process control systems is a plus.
