Job description

McElroy Truck Lines is searching for a Terminal Manager for the Pleasant Hill, NC location. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a fleet of drivers, facility upkeep, maintaining relationships with dedicated customers, as well as working in conjunction with our onsite maintenance & safety facilitator.

Terminal Manager

Job Duties:

  • Dispatch and work with drivers daily
  • Coordinate and work with the home office for operational needs
  • Remedial Training
  • Random drug testing
  • Coordinate equipment moves
  • Work with the Maintenance facilitator to organize maintenance work flow
  • Keep facilities well maintained, organized & clean
  • Work with our dedicated customers to ensure all needs are met
  • Address in driver issues that need in person attention

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Transportation experience
  • Strong knowledge of fleet management and maintenance shop concepts
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Experience with McLeod is a plus
