Job description

Our client, located in Nashville, TN. Is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team in a temp to hire role. The ideal candidate will have experience within multi-state, healthcare payroll processing through Workday, and be open to an on-site schedule.

Duties: Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy through thorough review of payroll reports and prompt resolution of discrepancies. Partner with the payroll team to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance payroll operations. Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, coordinating and executing necessary adjustments to ensure timely and accurate pay.

Enter and maintain payroll data in Workday, including garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies. Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to support internal and external audits by providing requested payroll data and documentation. Maintain current knowledge of payroll best practices and industry standards.

Support payroll tax functions, including deposits, quarterly and annual filings, and year-end processing and distribution of W-2s. Assist in onboarding new oncology practices by collaborating with payroll and integration teams to convert payroll operations to Workday. Requirements: 5 years experience in multi-state, multi-entity payroll processing Must have Workday payroll system experiene Multi-state, multi-entity (FEIN) payroll processing, tax reconciliation, payments, and filings.

Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred). Title: Payroll Analyst Location: Nashville, TN Type of role: Temp to hire Pay: $27-$32/hour depending on experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
