Sr. HRIS Analyst, Reston, VA ($45-65/hour)
Immediate need for a Sr. Workday HRIS Specialist to set up maintenance, optimization, reporting, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, system security and year-end support for a multi-billion dollar industry leader. Support system integrations to ensure proper control, while recommending and establishing new controls as needed. This position is a 3 month temporary to permanent role. The problem is, we're getting people that are too HR heavy or too IT heavy with no configuration experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead or support regional HRIS modules, ensuring alignment with global and local requirements.
  • Translate business needs into HRIS specifications, configurations, and interfaces.
  • Maintain system codes, tables, reports, and resolve complex system issues.
  • Execute audits, controls, and internal processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders and vendors to support HR systems, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Design and run complex queries, manage file feeds, and implement system upgrades.
  • Support system and security administration across HRIS/Payroll platforms.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing end-user support.
  • Drive continuous digitization, automation, and optimization of HR processes.
  • Ensure HRIS compliance with regional regulations and company policies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of HRIS and project experience with a focus on process improvement and system upgrades.
  • Strong expertise in Workday HRIS, payroll, and business processes.
  • General HR knowledge (e.g., compensation and benefits).
  • Experience with UltiPro reporting/payroll and Cognos BI reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with US and Canadian HR practices is a plus.
  • PHR, PMP, and experience with ticketing systems (JIRA/SNOW) are preferred.
