Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Technology and Operations, the Enrollment Systems Specialist will be an expert in the use and optimization of the Slate CRM and related systems to support the successful business operations of the Enrollment Management division and the mission and goals of the University.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enrollment management CRM software.
  • Ensure CRM data integrity by implementing and requiring data standards and uniformity.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and institutional data privacy regulations and policies.
  • Perform daily de-duplication and cleansing of CRM person and organization data.
  • Manage CRM end-users to include development of roles and permissions that follows industry best practices for minimum amount of access to support successful completion of job duties.
  • Be an enrollment management data expert to support accurate creation and maintenance of CRM data queries and reports. Ensure alignment of data collection and categorization across the CRM and student information system.
  • Evaluate current and future Enrollment Management business process operations needs and identify how the CRM can be used to provide the most optimal and productive operational outcomes. Recommend and implement business process workflows.
  • Provide daily operational support to Slate end-users via service management software to include triaging and resolution of issues.
  • Partner with central IT teams to build and maintain data interfaces between Slate and other University systems as well as with external partners. Perform data uploads, monitor automations, and manage error handling.
  • Document all aspects of the CRM related to system administration and data interfacing. Create and maintain knowledge base articles related to the functional use of the CRM.
  • Collaborate with and support departments like Admissions, Financial Aid, IT, and the academic colleges and schools in the effective use of the CRM to improve business strategies and attain enrollment goals.
  • Utilize programming languages like SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for system customization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications
Valid Driver's License.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Experience in administering technology in a higher education setting. Knowledge of higher education policy and practices.
  • Experience administering and utilizing CRM software.
  • Experience managing database records and ensuring data integrity to include compliance with data privacy policies.
