Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH) is seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Urban-Global Public Health within the School of Public Health, located in located in Newark, NJ. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (Dr. Laura Lindberg), the Temporary Research Assistant will provide research assistance for projects related to sexual and reproductive health in the United States and New Jersey.
Duties include:
  • Conduct research support activities including:
    • Identifying and obtaining key literature related to sexual and reproductive health
    • Supporting data collection, primarily through collection and organization of web-based materials
  • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and presentations, including:
    • Formatting to meet journal requirements (text, tables and figures)
    • Managing and formatting references using Zotero
    • Creating tables and figures using Excel
    • Assisting with the development of presentations using Powerp
