Job description

In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administrationรขโ‚ฌ's (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard, Inspired Options Inc. requires all its employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Therefore, by applying for a position with Inspired Options, you understand that you will be required to verify that you have at least one dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or one complete dose of the singe-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine by your first day of employment. Employees are also required to wear face masks when visiting and/or working in all Inspired Options offices or programs.
Position Overview
Under the direction and supervision of the House Manager (or Residential Program Manager), the position assists with providing direct care and supports to the participants that agency supports in our residential group homes in a ratio of 1:1 up to 1:3 in the home, in the community, and employment environment.
Essential Functions
  • Work with residents, assisting them with the activities of daily living: teaching money management, housekeeping, cooking, personal care and hygiene, socialization with roommates and persons in the community, and appropriate use of leisure time.
  • Develop and maintain warm, clean, and safe home environment which is conducive to optimal development of the resident.
  • Implement the individual activity schedule of the resident. Document all activities on the weekly activity schedule.
  • Participate in the development of, and implementation of the participantรขโ‚ฌ's Person-Centered Plan (PCP). Document any changes to the resident's program in the approved PCP prior to implementation.
  • Work with the Residential House Manager to account for the individual funds of the resident. Teach money management techniques to residents who experience difficulties managing their personal funds.
  • Adheres to the mandatory use of iCM system to access, send email and access and report health information, data and incidents for individuals supported in Inspired Options Inc. program.

Required Education/Certifications/Experience
