Zantech is looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer to provide acquisition management advice and recommendations, technical reviews, and milestone decision support onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

This role will be providing systems engineering services to all projects under federal management, utilizing integrated system solutions through concurrent consideration of development, manufacturing, test and evaluation, verification, deployment, and operations.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide acquisition management advice based on comprehensive understanding of DoDI 5000.02, AR 70-1, MIL HDBK 245, and MIL HDBK 61A
  • Coordinate with Headquarters staff to identify, prepare, review, and track program documentation
  • Prepare, review, and staff engineering documents including Systems Engineering Plans, TEMPs, Program Protection Plans
  • Participate in technical reviews including Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, Critical Design Review
  • Develop, analyze, and track programs' Integrated Master Schedules and Risks
  • Evaluate system reliability, maintainability, cybersecurity, and architecture requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise
  • Review all systems engineering documentation in preparation for Milestone Decision Reviews.

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • Systems engineering
  • Configuration management
  • Technical reviews

Preferred Certifications/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Systems Engineering certifications
  • PMP

Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
