Schedule & Shifts
  • Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
  • 4/10 or 5/8 Schedule
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Position Summary
Onsite Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II for a leading electronics manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies, a strong understanding of quality standards, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on printed circuit boards and accurately document results.
  • Conduct incoming inspections of materials, components, and PCB assemblies.
  • Perform final inspections of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of inspection and test equipment using approved standards.
  • Review and sign quality certifications as required.
  • Inspect returned or rejected materials and determine status.
  • Perform random in-process inspections to verify product quality throughout production.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.
  • Follow work instructions, specifications, and procedures with precision.
  • Support departmental quality, productivity, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
  • IPC Certification and J-STD Certification required (expired certifications accepted).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, IPC-A-610 (latest revision), and J-STD-001 (latest revision).
  • Experience performing First Article, Incoming, and Final Inspections.
  • Experience inspecting Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and electronic assemblies preferred.
  • Experience using sampling techniques and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong math, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Interview Requirements
  • Must successfully complete a PCB Inspection Test prior to the interview.
  • Previous IPC and J-STD certifications are required (expired certifications are acceptable).
Physical Requirements
  • Good visual acuity (periodic vision testing may be required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the workday.
