Job description

We are hiring an Electronic Assembler with hand soldering experience for an immediate opening with our client in Troy, MI. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire for the right candidate. The Electronic Assembler will perform hand soldering and assembly of printed circuit board assemblies.

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 5am - 3:30pm; a three-day weekend every week. 

The hourly pay is based on experience but will range between $18.00 - $21.00.
Electronic Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Perform hand soldering on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs).
  • Assemble electronic components according to work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are mt.
  • Rework and repair PCB assemblies as needed.
  • Use soldering irons, hand tools, microscopes, and testing equipment.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.


Electronic Assembler Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience soldering printed circuit board assemblies required.
  • Ability to identify electronic components and read assembly drawings.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
