Job description

The Word Processor II provides a comprehensive administrative support to the customer by collaborating closely with managers and staff to meet their individual needs while adhering to office protocols.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepares multimedia documents, manages logistical aspects like participant enrollment, coordinates speaker schedules, and creates training materials.

  • Schedules video and teleconferencing, prepares briefings, and records/edits/distributes minutes.

  • Provides special project support, which entails addressing queries, tracks project progress, takes meeting notes, and executes tasks.

  • Delivers general administrative support, including timekeeping, assists with travel arrangements, and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one to two (1-2) years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
